About: DreamDarkStories

We are a new base for micro story telling. Here at DreamDarkStories our story tellers will be dropping pages weekly as they produce personal and Dream@Womba art to express our devious and visual pieces of beauty and horror. Our intent is to bring joy, light, and a hint of terror while encapsulating it in bite-sized chunks that have you coming time and again for more.

Love and Terror. Produced by Starryai

Through weekly story drops and consistent visuals we intend on creating a visual set showing examples of how DreamDark develops what you come to love. We will also be showcasing art creations, storyboard talks and maybe a recipe here and there.

Please help our community by sharing our page and showing Love. We love the support, we invite the conversations and we find ourselves driven to be an exciting endeavour for all.

Meet the Authors

Matthew Ryan B. – He prefers Matty or Matthew, never Matt, he’s married to a Phoenix and has two hobbits that love stealing his black licorice. You’ll likely find him jamming out to Sultana or Einuadi as he cleans or spins his yarn. He’s also an English student aiming to become a teacher and an impassioned writer who spends way too much time writing and not enough time dusting his Lego collection. He’s an artist, cook and maybe a butler on a busy day.

Nix – Nix prefers the shadows, works within the dark and doesn’t like being bothered by us mere humans. They’re the administrator and social media counselor while also being the whip that has our writers spinning out what soon will be an anthology of tales, myths, and new legends to our newfound reality. They’re also our contact liaison. Contact below.

“The function of freedom is to free someone else.”

– Toni Morrison

“Ideas excite me, and as soon as I get excited, the adrenaline gets going and the next thing I know I’m borrowing energy from the ideas themselves.”

– Ray Bradbury

“Writers are liars, my dear, surely you know that by now? And yet, things need not have happened to be true. Tales and dreams are the shadow-truths that will endure when mere facts are dust and ashes, and forgot.”

– Neil Gaiman
